First, I’d like to say a BIG thanks to Revolution Racing for giving me a chance to race. I’ve been in England for 6 years, trying to raise funding to go racing, during which I’ve only managed 2 race starts, so needless to say I was very nervous getting back behind the wheel in a competitive race car, but excited too!
Unfortunately before practise on Saturday my radio gear wasn’t working properly and with no communications with my spotter (or crew chief!!) I wasn’t allowed out onto the track. But with new connections for my ear piece, and my spotter coming through loud and clear, we finally got out but only managed a few practice laps before qualifying.

Race one with my confidence low, and the car seemed to be pushing, I was just glad to bring the car home in one piece.
Race two, Kev and the guys had tweaked the car, it was running good, now I had to rebuild my confidence with myself, and by the end of the race, with help from my spotter chuck, I had managed it. I finished the race buzzing and ready to go again!!
I must thank all the team for their help and support in making the weekend go smoothly, especially (crew chief) Kev, (Spotter) Chuck, his experience helped me to regain my confidence.
I’m really looking forward to the next round in June knowing we can get the F.S.B.F car going a lot quicker. I look forward to seeing you all again and don’t forget to purchase your tickets through the F.S.B.F link.
Regards
Chris
