and related industries’ charity
BEN, is the automotive and related industries’ own charity. It’s your charity, the only one founded by people just like you, for people just like you. We provide care and support for anyone who work or has worked in these industries and this provision also extends to their dependants. BEN provides friendship, advice, emotional support and financial assistance to thousands of people living in their own homes throughout the UK and Ireland. We also run four nursing and residential centres across the country, providing a home to more than 350 people of different ages and needs.
We are not cause specific, which means our only guiding principle is to care for our colleagues who have found themselves in need. The work our dedicated welfare and care staff undertake is truly diverse.
BEN requires £11 million a year to maintain the services it provides, and more than half of this comes from individual and corporate support.
