Shane Lynch has decided that he will not be available to drive with Revolution Racing in the 2007 V8 Trophy season after attending day 1 of a two day test, once the 1st days on track activities had been completed Shane found It was not something he found an affinity with and regrettably, as this was the first opportunity he had to get a feel for an Ascar, it is only now that he realises such.

Duane Kidd of Revolution Racing added “it’s a shame to loose Shane, it is an amicable decision due to the August date clashing with a personal engagement and after he witnessed the practicalities of the Rockingham Oval we decided this was the right choice for both of us”

Duane Went on “the one thing we don’t want to do is encourage someone to run in the series if it isn’t for them as it’s a dangerous enough place out there when you want to race the oval, it is a very different animal from circuit racing, different discipline’s have to be undertaken to do the job, its not for the light hearted”

Revolution racing are pleased to announce Australian driver Chris Robinson as the Driver of the # 99 National Fire Service Benevolent Fund car.

Chris comes with a wealth of Rockingham Oval experience haven driven the pace car for a number of years and being the main driver of the Rockingham Race Schools two seater he knows his way around the circuit, Chris has also competed in two race weekends in the past leaving him hungry for a full season, Revolution Racing are pleased to give him this chance.
