SCSA POSITIVE MOVES FORWARD
Following Sunday 9th July's Rockingham race meeting at which the SCSA stock car field was depleted to only six starters, a meeting was held by all interested parties to discuss a positive way forward for the formula.
Subsequently a consortium of sponsors headed by Steward Transport with further support from various sources including US Automotive and Tor Trucks, agreed to cover all entry fees for the remaining three rounds of the 2006 Championship.
This will allow existing and prospective teams and drivers who have to date not raced the opportunity to take part in the Championship without the burden of entry fees.
The Sponsorship is however subject to a dramatic increase in numbers of starters with the SCSA Teams guaranteeing a minimum of ten cars for the rest of the season.
This positive move forward is seen as exactly what the formula requires and interested team owners or drivers requiring further information of cars for sale and drives available should contact Revolution Team Owner Duane Kidd, the newly elected team's representative.
